Albergo La Pieve, a great experience in beautiful Tuscany.

During the summer of 2011, my wife and I went on a motorcycle tour around southern Europe, including Tuscany. After having read an article in the Danish newspaper, Fyens Stiftstidende, we decided to visit Hotel La Pieve with the hosts Danish Charlotte and Italian Matteo in Castelfiorentino.
We arrived just after noon at the hotel and received a fantastic welcome. We started on the shady terrace with stunning views and Matteo's own "Tagliata Rucola e Grana" and a local bottle of wine. He is a stellar cook and over the next days he made magic with his Italian cuisine. We were delayed one day on our motorcycle trip, not least due to these 2 sweet young people who live their dream as hotel owners and a fantastic kitchen with lots of gourmet stars.
